Save the planet with us!

We’re partnering with South Bay Parkland Conservancy to help pollinators thrive. Pollinators are animals like bees, birds, and butterflies that allow our food to grow by carrying pollen and fertilizing plants. Did you know that one in three bites of food is thanks to a pollinator?! But pollinator populations are in decline, and you can join us to be part of the solution.

Eat a meal, take a plant to go

When you dine brightly with us each Monday, you’ll find a cart on our patio full of pollinator-friendly plants curated and cared for by experts at South Bay Parkland Conservancy. We invite you to take home a complimentary plant with the purchase of any entrée. Place your plant on a sunny balcony, porch, or plant it in a yard to attract pollinator friends. The more pollinator-friendly plants we grow at a local level, the larger their populations become. They’re especially helpful when planted in bunches - so join us every Monday to help the garden grow. You are an important part of the solution! Here are 3 great reasons to participate.

01

Pollinators support the growth of plants that wildlife and people alike rely on to survive. They are responsible for pollinating and maintaining 90% of the world’s flowering plants. Without them, plant populations would decline significantly.

02

Nearly 75% percent of the world’s food crops depend on pollinators to reproduce. This includes fruits like avocados, apples, nectarines and bananas and vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, celery, and many more.

03

Pollinators are essential for the growth of plants like trees, which store excess carbon dioxide and use it to produce breathable oxygen for all of Earth’s species. When these plant species are destroyed and deforested, pollinators also help to restore what has been fragmented.
